WATCH: New York Rangers fan gives hilarious Game 7 interview, bought $4.5K tickets 'in hundreds only'

One of the stars of Friday's Game 7 between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the New York Rangers came from off of the ice.

Just before the start of the decisive game, a Rangers mega-fan sitting front row, had TV viewers in stitches during an interview with Hockey Night In Canada reporter Scott Oake.

Oake, asking the obvious question of how much he dished out for the seat along the glass, got a rather cool reply, which was a taste of things to come: "My man, I paid $4,500 cash," said the fan, who seemed like he was schooled by Eminem.

Oake then pointed out that he could have re-sold the tickets for almost $19,200 US, which elicited this hilarious response, all the while holding up a gold chain around his neck:

"Yeah I know. That would've been cool but ya know what? I get to see the Rangers win, I could've blown all that money on water, I don't really drink alcohol, it's cool," the fan said.

When asked one more time for the viewers at home how much he paid for the tickets, he finished with this beauty:

"$4,500, hundreds only! Benjamin Franklin is killin' the game!"

The Rangers of course lost, but the superfan can be happy in the fact that he killed it on national TV.
