WOODSTOCK -

Oxford OPP are reporting that female passenger who was ejected from a vehicle following a two-vehicle collision in Norwich Township is now in stable condition.

The woman was transported by air ambulance to a London Hospital with undetermined injuries Wednesday morning.

The female driver of the second vehicle was transported by Oxford EMS to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Police said the two-vehicle collision occurred at Otterville Road and Highway 59 North in Norwich Township at around 9:46 a.m.

Const. Lisa Narancsik said an SUV was travelling westbound on Otterville Road and a pickup truck was travelling southbound when the collision occurred.

“The road was dry and it was a clear day,” Narancsik said. “During the winter time people need to slow down. But if it’s a nice day drivers also have to be aware of their surroundings, road signs and animals, and not be distracted.”

Narancsik said charges are likely pending following an investigation by police.
