Check out the new website from NYC & Company, the official tourism organization of New York City, and get a great deal on Broadway shows, find the perfect hotel for your stay, plan travels through the five boroughs and much more.

The new NYCGO.com, launched Thursday morning, has a new colour palatte, custom fonts, new icons as visual aids for websites, maps, official visitor publications, and more, all inspired by the history of the Big Apple, from its diverse population to the iconic subway system maps of the 1970s.

“New York City now has an enhanced, innovative tourism website and vibrant, updated branding to match our world-class, five-borough destination,” said Fred Dixon, president and CEO of NYC & Company, in a statement.

Together with partners from Booking.com, Viator.com, Opentable.com and Broadway Inbound, NYCGO.com is the place to go for news on upcoming events, tips for planning a New York City trip, finding the perfect hotel -- whether looking for something hip and upscale or something on a budget, -- or taking advantage of the deals during NYC Restaurant Week (July 25 - Aug. 19), NYC Broadway Week (Sept. 5 - 18) and NYC Off-Broadway Week (Sept. 26 - Oct. 9).

"As the weather warms up, it is the perfect time for visitors to start planning their summer vacations to New York city," said Dixon. "Savings opportunities, outdoor activities and only-in-summer-events throughout the five boroughs add to the attractiveness of visiting NYC during the warmer months."
