The 32nd-annual Bala Cranberry Festival will take place Oct. 14-16.

Thousands of visitors flock to the Muskoka town of Bala each year to enjoy the festival and watch the cranberry harvest.

"We have fantastic performances lined-up the entire weekend that can be enjoyed by adults and families alike," Tiffany Bol, the festival president, said in a press release.

The festival fun includes live music all weekend, buskers and other family entertainment, live championship wrestling, the Four Paws flying dog show, and a Saturday night concert at The Kee to Bala, headlined by Hotel California, an Eagles tribute band.

The festival also has several Kids' Zones set up around town this year. These include a Planetarium IMAX presentation, petting zoo, an inflatable zone with a bouncy castle and obstacle course, face painting, the annual Cran-Anne look-a-like contest, and a chance to visit with Santa, who is making a special trip to Bala from his summer home at Santa's Village in Bracebridge.

With the leaves changing colour later than usual this fall, visitors will still see a display of autumn colours.
