Police blotter: Adult magazines left on driveway

Police were contacted Thursday after children discovered adult magazines on a driveway in the Houghton area.
Sometime between April 12-19 someone threw a number of adult magazines in the driveway on 1st Concession Road. The magazines were then located by young children who gave them to their parents.
This is the second such incident that has taken place on the property.
Police are continuing to investigate and are seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
Trailer and tools stolen
A trailer that contained $15,000 worth of construction tools was stolen from a property on Townline Road in North Walsingham on Thursday.
The incident took place in the wee hours of the morning.
The trailer is described as a black, 2012 SFC single axle enclosed aluminium utility trailer.
No insurance in Simcoe
A Norfolk man has been charged with driving a motor vehicle without proper insurance.
Norfolk OPP laid the charge following a vehicle pullover on Windham Street in Simcoe 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
