Motorcyclist suffers life-threatening injuries

A 30-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle while riding his motorcycle Saturday evening.

Windsor police were called around 7:30 p.m. to an intersection near the city’s outskirts of Holburn Street and Barton Street for a collision involving a motorcycle and a sports utility vehicle.

The driver of the motorcycle was taken to hospital with severe, life-threatening injuries.

The area was closed for several hours as members of the traffic reconstruction and forensic identification units attended and investigated the scene.

No charges had been filed as of Monday as police continued to investigate.
