Drugs, stolen property seized

One man was arrested after police searched a west-end residence on Tuesday.

Small amounts of several narcotics, including cocaine and cannabis resin, drug paraphernalia, stolen property and a prohibited weapon were found. Estimated street value of the narcotics is $740.

Brandon Collins, 22, of 320 Goulais Ave., was charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, two counts each possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance and three counts possession of property obtained by crime.
