Cremation urn dug up from Dunnville cemetery
Someone went to a lot of work to gain access to a cremation urn at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Dunnville last week.
Sometime in the early morning hours last Friday, someone dug an area of the cemetery where cremation urns are located. The dig area measured about one-square-metre in size, said police.
The culprit(s) then removed a metal name tag from one of the urns.
Haldimand OPP say it doesn't appear that anything else was taken.
Haldimand County Parks and Recreation contacted police about the incident at about noon on Friday.
