$32,000 worth of doors, windows stolen

Doors and windows valued at about $32,000 were stolen from a construction site early Saturday.

The culprits broke into a storage container on Cockshutt Road property  near Waterford at about 2 a.m. Saturday. They removed 26 windows, seven doors and plywood from the location.

Norfolk OPP say the items were loaded into an open flat-bed trailer being pulled by a four-door light-coloured Dodge Ram pickup truck.

The theft was captured on security cameras and police are attempting to identify the suspects.

"I am urging anyone that comes into contact with a person attempting to sell a large quantity of windows or doors to contact police. It's just a matter of time before those responsible are identified,” said Norfolk OPP Const. Ed Sanchuk.
