Man injured in vehicle crash dies

Brant County OPP are asking for the public’s help as they investigate the circumstances of a two-vehicle collision that led to the death of a 25-year-old Brampton man on a road south of Paris.
Officers were called to the crash site on Rest Acres Road at Hanlon Place just after 3:30 p.m. Monday. Brant County Fire and Emergency Services and Brant County Ambulance also were called to the scene.
A man was taken from a damaged vehicle and rushed to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries. He was later pronounced dead, police said.
Police released his identity in a statement early Tuesday morning. He is identified as Jasdeep Bain, 25, of Brampton.
Officers determined that a white 2011 Audi AQ7 was southbound on Rest Acres Road and collided with a northbound black 2015 Cat CT dump truck.
The driver of the dump truck was treated in hospital for minor injuries and released.
OPP technical collision investigators were deployed to the scene. The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
