Police seek dog owner after dog bite in Simcoe

The OPP are looking to speak with a dog owner after a woman was bitten by a dog in Simcoe Nov. 17.

On Friday afternoon, a 59-year-old woman was walking along a trail behind the Real Canadian Superstore when two dogs ran up to her. One of the dogs, described as a rottweiler, then bit the victim on the arm.

The owner came to regain control of the two dogs. During that time, the same dog bit the victim a second time.

The woman was taken to hospital and treated for serious injuries.

The dogs are described as a black rottweiler weighing about 100 pounds and a boxer.
