A Queen Street man who repeatedly targeted a woman during the summer was sentenced last month to time served, jail time and restitution.
Matthew Louis Meyers, 29, pleaded guilty in Ontario Court to failing to comply with probation orders on June 26, mischief under $5,000 on June 29 and assaulting the woman and further mischief on July 30.
At various points, he damaged one of the tires on the woman’s vehicle, damaged the vehicle itself and damaged a wall.
Justice Kevin Sherwood sentenced Meyers to time served, which he credited at 139 days, a further 41 days in jail and $500 in restitution.
Meyers will remain on probation for 18 months and pay $300 in victim surcharges. Several other charges were withdrawn.
