Man pursued by business owner

A business owner on Norfolk Street South in Simcoe located two unknown males on his property May 18 at 11:35 a.m.

When confronted, both fled through a field with the owner following.

One of the males was apprehended by the resident while the other suspect fled on foot from the area. It was determined through further investigation that a vehicle on the property had been entered and property removed.

As a result, a 19-year-old Norfolk man is charged with possession of stolen property under $5,000.
