  • From marbles and mibs to dolls with and without bibs, "Toying With The Past" is the newest exhibition at the Eva Brook Donly Museum in downtown Simcoe.

    Featuring 200 years of toys and games from 1800 to 1999, this display includes dolls, tin toys, puzzles and more from the Museum as well as other museums and private collections. It also includes some hands-on components so that you can enjoy playing as well as looking.

    Relive the days of your own youth and those of your ancestors. Some highlights include a set of Gene Autry pistols, Dionne Quintuplet dolls, a fort, old television shows and cartoons, and a whole lot more set up throughout the entire museum.

    Admission is just $4/adult; $2/child. Members are free. The Eva Brook Donly Museum is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 4:30pm. Call for more details or to arrange for a group tour or class programme.
