Is love better the second time around? It could be -- if only someone would (please) give these defunct romance-reality shows a chance. Fact is, while the Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise has held us in sway since 2002, the genre could use a twist after a decade of failed romances, scripted-like drama and artificial cleavage. Enough with the getaways and endless tears. We'll be watching as The Bachelor returns for yet another season Monday on ABC and OMNI, but that doesn't mean we're not quietly longing for a surprise return from one of these five former flames:
