Peel police have located a Mississauga boy, who is believed to have been abducted by his mother.

Matthew Zhang was last seen Sunday morning when his father dropped him off at his mother’s home in Mississauga.

An Amber Alert was issued Monday morning.

Peel Regional Police said mother Wei Chen doesn’t have custody of the boy, and isn’t able to take proper care of him

A member of the public spotted Chen’s Honda Accord in Vaughan and contacted police. The boy was in good health and has been returned to his father.

Police have not yet said if charges will be laid.
