TORONTO — Toronto Public Health says it’s investigating four lab-confirmed cases of the measles.
The department made the announcement Monday morning, saying while it believes that risk to the public is low, its important residents know the illness is circulating the city.
Public Health said of the four confirmed cases, two cases involve children under the age of two and two adults from different families.
Public Health said it’s following up with individuals who may have been exposed to those diagnosed with measles.
Officials are also recommending city residents ensure their immunizations are up to date.
