Listen, some of us are more coordinated than others. Some of us are barely 5 ft and like to wear chunky shoes and bell-bottoms in 2018. Some of us like to play with fire. Some of us like to follow recipes for disaster.

One such person is Paula Abdul who, if you weren’t aware, is currently crushing it on her Straight Up Paula! tour. But during her show in Biloxi, Mississippi, Abdul took quite the spill off the edge of the stage while high-fiving fans, one you can hear along with the audience’s collective gasp below.

Abdul was performing her 1991 hit “The Promise of a New Day.”

But despite the drama of it all, Abdul got right back up and finished the performance.

That said, this was only the third show of what is her first solo tour in 25 years, with the next one set for Thursday at Caesars Windsor, so here’s hoping it’s straight up from here.
