It looks like Eve Dubois will be enjoying a lot of Popeyes chicken for the foreseeable future.

The Family Feud Canada contestant, who went viral last week after over-enthusiastically stated that “chicken” was Popeye the Sailor’s favourite food instead of spinach, lost out on $10,000 for her family after losing the game in sudden death to the Tomlin family of Waterloo, Ont.

Dubois is a true winner in the eyes of the fried chicken franchise, which is why Popeyes is awarding the Lorette, Man., native $10,000 worth of poultry.

“Our survey says you got it right,” tweeted Popeyes Chicken with a picture of an oversized novelty cheque. “DM us to claim your $10,000 worth of Popeyes.”
