Police in Hollywood, Fla., are betting on finding a pair of women who they believe drugged and robbed a poker player in a casino.
In the early morning hours of Sept. 13, a 69-year-old man was trying his luck while playing a poker machine at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino when two women approached him and began chatting, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported.
In surveillance footage released Wednesday by the Broward Sheriff’s Office, a blond-haired woman appears to put something in a drink and offers it to the gambler.
The man later told cops he felt drugged and struggled to move after consuming the drink. The footage later shows the man with his arms around both women as they leave the casino.
Cops say the women brought him back to his hotel room where he passed out. The man told cops when he awoke the next morning his Rolex watch – valued at $15,000 – and $1,000 in cash was missing.
The female suspects are described as between 35 and 45 years old and from the Cayman Islands.
The first suspect has long blond hair with a tattoo on her upper left chest and wearing a black blouse and black pants.
The second suspect has shoulder-length black hair and wore a leopard-patterned jumpsuit.
