Attempted robbery in Port Dover

The clerk of a store on Main Street in Port Dover was the subject of a robbery attempt last week.
Around 8:30 p.m. last Wednesday, the female clerk closed up the business for the night and was leaving the property when a male approached, uttered a threat and demanded money.
No money was turned over and there were no reports of injury.
The suspect is described as a male about 5’5″ tall. He was wearing dark baggy pants and a dark-coloured winter jacket.
