The collection begins in Simcoe Monday, June 1 and ends in west Norfolk near the end of June.

Residents are asked to limit the amount of waste put curbside to what will fit in the box of a typical pickup truck. If two average adults cannot lift a given item, it will not be accepted. Items greater than 10 feet in length will also go uncollected.

Waste items that will be accepted include:

Appliances such as stoves, microwaves and refrigerators. Refrigerators, air conditioners, dehumidifiers and any other item containing freon refrigerant must be affixed with an ozone depletion prevention tag.

Furniture such as sofas, couches, desks, chairs, tables, rugs, patio furniture, bedsprings, mattresses and bed frames.
