Another popular Woodstock event has become a victim of COVID-19.
The 2020 version of Cowapolooza was cancelled “after careful deliberation,” discussion with city council, and local and provincial health authorities, the city stated in a release.
This year would’ve been the 19th anniversary of the popular summer event that serves as Woodstock’s largest summer festival.
It had been scheduled for Aug. 14 and 15. Next year’s event will return Aug. 13 and 14, 2021.
“We are anxious and determined to make the 2021 festival even bigger and better,” the release noted.
