Two men armed with knives entered a Delhi home and demanded money from the occupants on Thursday.
The two suspects gained access at just before 7 p.m. on Feb. 7 through a back door that was left open at the Main Street residence.
After making the demand for money, the pair walked through the home and removed various electronic items. They then exited and left the property in an unknown direction.
The occupants were not injured and immediately contacted police.
Both suspects were described to police as males, black and about 16 years of age.
The Norfolk County OPP Crime Unit is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122, Crime Stoppers at 1 – 800 – 222 – TIPS (8477) or leave an anonymous online message at www.helpsolvecrime.com.
The OPP reminds all members of the public to be aware of their personal safety at all times and to be extremely vigilant when any stranger arrives at your home.
