Commander’s Corner – COVID – 19

With COVID-19 concerns at the forefront of everyone’s mind, the Devon RCMP Detachment wants to ensure that the safety and security of Devonians and our staff remain our top priority.

We have safety protocols in place for officers and RCMP employees who may come in contact with potentially ill individuals.

Don’t be alarmed if you see officers and office staff wearing extra protection, including various styles of face masks, protective clothing and gloves when assisting potentially ill individuals and when handling items. We will be practicing social distancing.

We ask that you call the Devon RCMP Detachment at 780-987-3413, before attending, as we have reduced front counter services and hours to prevent the unnecessary spread of COVID-19.

If you need officer assistance and believe you may be ill, please advise the call taker, so our officers can be prepared ahead of time.

If you believe you might be ill with COVID-19, please use online assessment tools to determine if you should call 811.

Please continue only calling 911 for emergencies.
