Pioneer is looking to give small towns a boost with it new ‘Here’s to Hometowns’ contest.
Four individuals from across Eastern Canada will each receive $50,000 to support a project in their community. Entrants are being asked to submit a short video outlining their community project, and how the community will benefit from this grant as well as the entrant’s own contribution to the community.
“Pioneer is passionate about the communities we serve and our growers, we want to show the hard work and passion they have for their communities through these videos,” says Jeff Loessin, marketing lead for Pioneer brand products, in announcing the contest.
The contest is open to residents from Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada. Video submissions can be made online at www.herestohometowns.ca

Lambton Women’s Institute Scholarship
For a number of years, the Lambton W.I. has offered a scholarship to the successful applicant entering their first or second year of an Ontario college or university, leading to a degree or a diploma. All students who have a permanent address in Lambton County are eligible to apply.Previous winners are not eligible.
