An Ingersoll man has died from injuries sustained in a five-vehicle crash on Highway 24 northwest of Waterford two weeks ago.
Kevin Coutts, 40, died in hospital on Tuesday.
Coutts was one of four passengers in a truck carrying Tiltwall construction employees to a job site in Simcoe.
Norfolk OPP say the collision occurred when a pickup truck was attempting to turn from Highway 24 onto Norfolk County Road 19 East.
About 10 people were taken to local hospital for treatment of their injuries. Coutts was later airlifted to a Hamilton hospital for further treatment.
Coutts’ sister, Darlene Woodley, set up a Go Fund Me page on Oct. 28 to assist Coutts’ wife Amanda and their two children Mason, 8, and Ariel, 4.
On Tuesday, Woodley posted the following message: “Tonight at 6:28 we said goodbye to my baby brother. We love you Kevin Coutts. Give a extra hug to dad for us.”
The investigation is continuing and charges are pending, said police.
