Tienhaara got the girls going with the first goal, assisted by Rachel Davis and Natalie Nixon. Sara Lynch scored two quick goals with one coming on the power play. Kristen Nixon assisted on both goals along with Kate Gilkinson and Natalie Nixon.
Then Kristen Nixon got in on the scoring to make it 4-0. Lynch and Gilkinson picked up assists on the goal.
The Legends hit the scoresheet 30 seconds into the second period to make it 4-1. Lynch completed her hat trick late in the second period on the power play when she beat the Legends goalie through the five-hole. Jesse Pellegrino and Kristen Nixon assisted on the power-play marker.
