Lifeguard duty in Sudbury ends Aug. 18

Article content

Where did the summer go? The last day for lifeguard supervision at seven municipal beaches is Sunday. Until then, lifeguards remain on duty seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Children should always be accompanied by an adult and within reach.

Use of the City of Greater Sudbury’s municipal beaches after Aug. 18 is at your own risk. Reaching poles and ring buoys will remain attached to all lifeguard chairs: Bell Park main beach; Capreol public beach; Kalmo Beach; Moonlight Beach; Nepahwin Park beach; Meatbird Park in Lively; and Whitewater Lake in Azilda.

The City of Greater Sudbury thanks residents for another safe summer at our local beaches.
