Parade of Lights illuminates downtown Kenora streets in Christmas Cheer
Article content
The Kinsmen Club’s annual Parade of Lights lit up downtown Kenora’s streets with dozens of colourful and brightly lit floats Saturday evening, Nov. 30.
This spectacular attraction is a Christmas in Kenora tradition among generations of local residents as the event brightens up one of the shortest days of the year in colour and light.
The route for this year’s parade departed from the Kenora Curling Club and followed First St. S. along the new promenade to Main St. and back along Second St. S. to Park St.
Salvation Army volunteers were on hand along the parade route to collect donations for the Christmas Cheer campaign.
