A Simcoe boy reported missing on Thursday has returned home, police say.
Dylan Wheeler, 13, returned to his Metcalfe Street home “safe and sound” at about 12:45 a.m. on Friday.
The teen had left his home at about 5 p.m. Thursday to go to a business on Norfolk Street South but never arrived at his destination. A neighbour last saw him walking along the road.
His concerned parents contacted police at about 8:45 p.m.
“The OPP would like to take this opportunity to thank all our media partners and concerned residents for their assistance during the course of this investigation,” said a media release.
No further details were released by police.
