A pilot suffered minor injuries when his plane flipped during landing near Courtland on Friday night.

The 72-year-old Elgin man was landing the single-engine Cessna when it crashed and flipped over at Byerlay Road near Courtland at just before 8 p.m.

The pilot suffered minor injuries and was treated by paramedics at the scene.

Norfolk OPP say the investigation has been turned over to the Transportation Safety Board.
