A business along Main Street in Delhi was the target of a smelly bit of mischief on Sept. 29.

Police are reviewing surveillance footage that shows an unknown individual attending a financial institution and smearing feces throughout the lobby.

Marijuana plants stolen

Four large marijuana plants were removed from a residence in South Walsingham in the early hours of Sept. 29.

Pot plant vandalized

A homeowner on William Street in Delhi contacted police after noticing their backyard marijuana plant had been vandalized. Police were contacted around 4:40 p.m. on Oct. 2.

Playground vandalized

Around $8,000 worth of damage was done by vandals at a Norfolk County Road 28, Houghton, address.

In the early hours on Oct. 1 a picnic table and playground equipment on the property were spray painted.

Pellet pistol stolen

A case containing a black coloured Beretta pellet pistol, cylinders along with a quantity of pellets, was removed from a pickup truck parked at a West Street, Simcoe, address.

The theft occurred between Sept. 27 and 29.

The OPP is urging all vehicle owners to lock and secure their vehicle and to remove any valuables. If anyone observes suspicious activity they are being asked to call police immediately.

Wallet stolen from unlocked vehicle

In the early hours of Oct. 2 an unlocked vehicle parked at an Owen Street, Simcoe, address was entered and a wallet was removed.

The wallet contained personal and financial information.

Electric cooler stolen from vehicle

An unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway of a Woodhouse Street, Simcoe, home was entered in the early hours of Oct. 2.

An electric cooler and Canadian currency were removed.

Coins and silver flask stolen 

A home on Imperial Street in Delhi was the target of a break and enter at some point between Sept. 28 and Oct. 1.

The unlocked garage on the property was entered and a silver flask along with a large pickle jar wrapped in camouflage tape containing a large quantity of coins were removed.

Wallet stolen from shopping cart

A resident that had just finished shopping at a business on Thompson Drive in Port Dover had forgotten their wallet in their shopping cart when they left the store before 11:40 a.m. on Oct. 1.

Upon returning to the store the wallet containing personal and financial information, along with opiates, had been removed from the cart.

Family dog scares off intruder

Around 5 a.m. a resident on Berkley Crescent in Simcoe awoke to the sounds of their dog barking.

It was later determined that around that time someone had gained entry into the garage on the property. Police say it appears that the  culprit then attempted to enter the home through a locked back door, however was scared off when the family dog began to bark.

A Milwaukee radio was removed from the garage.

$7,500 copper and brass stolen

In the early hours of Oct. 1 a storage facility on Chapman Street East in Port Dover was entered.

Two barrels of copper wire and one barrel of brass fittings valued at about $7,500 were stolen from the facility.

Keys stolen from garage

An unlocked garage at a Highway 3, Charlotteville, home was entered in the early hours of Sept. 30.

A set of keys were removed from the garage.

Police are reminding the public to lock all garages, sheds, and homes.
