A trailer containing $50,000 worth of tools was stolen from a North Road property in the Houghton area on Friday.

Norfolk OPP say the theft occurred in the early morning hours. The trailer was parked in the driveway at a residence.

The trailer is described as a grey, 2001, Forest River model.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance with the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

Tires, rims stolen

Police are hoping someone can identify a vehicle used in the theft of tires and rims stolen from a business on Highway 3 in the Courtland area.

On Sunday morning, someone driving a white coloured, four-door Nissan removed the back tires and rims from a vehicle parked on the property.

The culprit fled the area in the white vehicle when a passerby entered the property.

The vehicle was last seen heading eastbound on Highway 3 before turning northbound on Fernlea Side Road.

The suspect vehicle had a missing rear window.
