Damage could reach $1-million in a fire at a boat storage facility south of Simcoe.

Fire crews responded to Team Marine on Highway 24 at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

Three boats at the rear of the property were fully engulfed when firefighters arrived, Norfolk Deputy Fire Chief Gord Stilwell said on Twitter.

Stilwell said preliminary damage estimates are in the area of $1-million.

Three fire stations – Port Dover, Vittoria and Simcoe – responded to the call.

No injuries were reported.
