“A couple weeks ago I won a $10,000 instant prize with The Bigger Spin and now I’m here to spin the wheel,” Brandon said at the prize centre.

The married father of five found out about his prize win while at B J’s Convenience in Simcoe where he purchased the ticket.

“I could tell it was a large win. Everyone was excited for me. I called my wife immediately – she kept asking me if I was serious,” said Madoo.

That win led him to Toronto for a chance to spin the wheel, where he could have won up to $1 million.

Madoo, a 37-year-old supervisor, plans to pay off some bills, purchase a home and invest for the first time. “My mom has already warned me to not do anything silly with my winnings.”

“The first thing I’m going to do is stop at the bank and then go home to rejoice with my family,” Madoo said.
