The Stratford Police Service is warning drivers they could face charges if they ignore school bus stop signs.

At the end of the second week of school, police say they have received daily complaints from school bus drivers of people in Stratford, St. Marys and Perth South driving through their attached stop signs.

This week alone, police laid charges against two drivers for failing to stop for a school bus. Police say they are taking a zero-tolerance policy on these violations.

Stratford police are asking anyone who witnesses an offence of this nature to contact police and provide as much information as possible.
