City, Toronto police search west Brantford home

One man is in custody after Brantford police and the Toronto police guns and gangs unit searched a home in west Brantford on Friday.

The man was taken into custody without incident, police said.

The police investigation is continuing.

As a safety precaution a school, located several blocks from the address where the search took place, was temporarily placed on hold and secure, police said.

No other details were available late Friday afternoon.
