UPDATE 1 p.m.: OPP Const. Rod LeClair said Tuesday afternoon that two of the four male passengers taken to hospital are now in serious condition. There was no further information at this time, but police expect to issue an update later today. Potters Road remains closed between Middletown line Road and Summerville Line.
Two people are dead and police are investigating after two separate crashes in Oxford County overnight and into Tuesday morning.
A 52-year-old man who was riding a motorcycle died Monday evening in a crash that also involved a pickup truck. The crash occurred shortly before 11 p.m. on Oxford Road 6 near Road 88 in Zorra Township.
Police allege the pickup truck, travelling north, hit a motorcycle that was in the northbound lane.
The motorcycle driver suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are not releasing his identity pending next-of-kin notification.
The driver of the pickup truck was uninjured. The road was closed for eight hours while police investigated.
On Tuesday morning, Oxford police responded to a single-vehicle rollover in which another man was also killed.
The crash occurred at Potters Road in Norwich around 7 a.m. Emergency crews, including air ambulance, were at the scene Tuesday morning.
According to a statement, Oxford County OPP say an SUV was travelling east on Potters Road when it veered from the road, rolled and came to rest in a nearby field. One male occupant was pronounced dead at the scene while four other male occupants were taken to hospital with other injuries.
The name of the deceased is not being released at this time, pending next-of-kin notification.

These accidents join a third crash on Monday evening near Dorchester. That multi-vehicle collision left one motorcyclist dead.
