SEXY SCENTED SKIVVIES
Tired of wearing granny panties while trying to attract a soul mate?
A Kickstarter campaign has been launched for a line of luxury underwear infused with scented oils that promise to make women feel sexy and confident. The black undergarments come in four distinct aromas: dark chocolate, french vanilla, black coconut or lavender.
The underwear is available in five sizes and also comes in two styles — bikini and g-string.
Effleure Underwear says the fragrance will last multiple washes and is safe to wear. But it is recommended the underwear be kept in scented candle boxes to keep the smell strong.
“All of our ingredients are free of heavy metals and known carcinogens,” the company wrote on their campaign page. “This means that the essential oils are completely safe and shouldn’t irritate your skin.”
The Quebec-based lingerie brand says there’s no health benefits to adding scented oils to undergarments. However, if you are in the mood for more excitement in your life, that’s another story.
“The benefit is the satisfying bedroom entertainment that goes along with this. Scent is a powerful aphrodisiac.”
GET CLEAN FOR SEXY TIME
Sometimes, a man wants to feel fresh before getting intimate.
A personal hygiene product that purportedly will clean your penis before and after sexy time, or following a sweaty workout, got a refreshing boost on social media recently.
Dean Murray came across the aptly named Boners Penis Cleaner spray in a British supermarket and asked what was wrong with bloke’s cleaning their genitals the old-fashioned way?
“Oh my god, what is wrong with just a bit of soap (and) water with (a) squirt of lemon juice,” he wrote half-jokingly on Twitter.
Murray later clarified his suggestion of lemon juice to clean male genitals.
“I do not actually use a squirt of lemon juice…. As a medic for my local authority ambulance service, I certainly would not recommend doing such a thing.”
The spray, which “provides a clean and fresh feeling and is gentle on the skin,” is also available for purchase online.
One customer gave the product five stars in an online review and said it was “amazing, penis looked magical afterwards, and smelled like rainbows.”
THE UNICORN DID IT
This robbery was not mythical.
According to news outlets in Maryland, Baltimore County police say a man donned a unicorn costume and used a crowbar to smash open a convenience store register last weekend.
After fleeing with cash and cigarettes, the crook jumped into a waiting car and sped away with another man at the wheel.
The vehicle soon crossed into oncoming traffic and crashed into mailboxes, a utility pole, shrubbery and a boulder. It then veered across the street and hit a tree, leaving both men hospitalized with serious injuries.
Police say the alleged driver, Joseph Philip Svezzese, 27, was treated and released while the man suspected of wearing the costume, Jacob William Rogge, 28, remained in serious condition.
A discarded unicorn costume was later found in bushes, police added.
Both are charged with armed robbery, robbery and theft. Rogge is also charged with assault and destruction of property.
MOM RUNS OVER SON: COPS
Don’t mess around with this mom.
A man was left with multiple injuries after he dared his mother to run him over while he was laying on a driveway.
According to Minnesota police, the woman had offered to give her son a ride to a friend’s place but he refused to get into the SUV after he was kicked out of her home.
“Why don’t you just run me over?” the son allegedly asked his mother.
“He didn’t believe I would,” Cynthia Grund allegedly told local deputies. “He has been drinking all day. We gave him a chance.”
Grund, 58, is facing second-degree assault charges and may be looking at an attempted murder charge for seriously injuring her 37-year-old son, who was sent to hospital with significant injuries to his head and pelvis.
Police say Grund was not drunk nor under the influence of drugs when the incident occurred.
HOME A LITERAL BIRD’S NEST
This story is for the birds.
When a man who turned over part of his home to raising nearly 300 cockatiels recently passed away, the news left an Alaska bird club scrambling to find new homes for all of them.
“There’s just so many birds,” Alaska Bird Club director Chelsea Farner told local media.
Farner said her adopt-a-bird group received a voicemail from a family member looking to find new homes for the cockatiels.
“The woman said, ‘There’s about 300,'” Farner explained. “That was not what I was expecting. I thought she was going to say three or four.”
The man apparently created an aviary room complete with branches and nesting boxes to nurture his growing cockatiel collection.
The family wants to keep the man’s identity secret, even though he did a good of taking care of his flying friends.
“I don’t condone having that many birds,” Farner said. “It’s not meant for the typical person. But it seems like the way he did it was the right way.”
