Hearn shoots 67

Brantford’s David Hearn got off to a solid start during his PGA Tour season opener, shooting a three-under-par 67 on Thursday.

Playing in A Military Tribute at The Greenbrier in West Virginia, Hearn shot a three-under-par 31 on his first nine and then an even-par 36 on his second nine.

With most of the field still on the course in the afternoon, the Brantford Golf and Country Club member was tied for 18th.

Robby Shelton was the early clubhouse leader after shooting an impressive eight-under-par 62.

Hearn tees off on the 10th hole Friday at 1:25 p.m. for his second round.
