Brantford’s Dennis Hendershott posted a great result last week at The Senior Open golf tournament after Monday qualifying.

Hendershott shot rounds of 71, 74, 71 and 75 on the weekend at Royal Lytham & St. Annes in England to finish at 11-over-par. That left him tied for 70th.

With a four-under-par 66 in the final round, Germany’s Bernhard Langer was able to finish at six-under-par for the tournament, beating England’s Paul Broadhurst by two shots for the victory.

Two-time U.S. Open champion Retief Goosen from South Africa tied for third at three-under-par.
