Sevigny starts the season on a good roll

On the opening night of the Monday night Mid-Town Ladies league last week, Helene Mccready was top bowler rolling a 287 single and 692 triple.

She was followed by Nat Berry with a 237 single and 622 triple. High singles also went to Irene Beaudoin (240), Bonnie Boissonneault (200) and Maryann Lemaire (199).

In the Mid-Town Mixed League, Joanne Sevigny started off the season rolling a 287 single and 764 triple. She was followed by Jess Lavigne with a 233 single and 633 triple. High singles also went to Julie Poirier (230), Lucie Audet (228) and Kelly Langlais (225).

On the men’s side, Gary Legros led the way with a 258 single and 738 triple. He was followed by Joel Nabuab with a 274 single and 697 triple. High singles also went to Jr Langlais (255), Andre Carriere (249) and Dave Campsall (232).

In the 55+ League, Veijo Mord was top bowler rolling a 263 single and 621 triple. He was followed by Claude Belanger with a 229 single and 617 triple. High singles also went to Ellard Beaven (241), Marcel L’Heureux (232), Kees Stryland and Denis Bilodeau (222).

On the ladies’ side, Helen Bilodeau led the way with a 216 single and 614 triple. She was followed by Ethel Maltais with a 199 single and 564 triple. High singles also went to Marg Vukelich (232), Sue Rogers (218) and Irene Caron (207).

In the Empire Mixed League, Patrick Philippe was top bowler rolling a 271 single and 711 triple. He was followed by Keldon Smith with a 252 single and 708 triple. High singles also went to Eric Letourneau (292), Russell Soeder (290) and Chad Champagne (271).

On the ladies’ side, Rachelle Parkinson led the way with a 282 single and 688 triple. She was followed by Joanne Sevigny with a 258 single and 679 triple. High singles also went to Jess Lavigne (245), Bonnie Boissonneault (232) and Julie Poirier (227).

In the Mid-Town Youth Bowling Council, top bowler in the Seniors division went to Dawson Lalonde rolling a 253 single and 613 triple. He was followed by Nathan Prevost with a 190 single and 516 triple. High scores also went to Ashton Vachon (187, 498), Jaden Dillon (211, 481) and Evan Lacroix (180, 475).

Bowler of the week went to Dawson Lalonde.

On the girls’ side, Meghan Cassaniti led the way with a 241 single and 597 triple. She was followed by Elissa Stinson with a 203 single and 576 triple. High scores also went to Mackenzie Belanger (140, 392) and Isabelle Gobeil (146, 379).

In the Junior division, Mikayla Paquette was top bowler rolling a 197 single and 542 triple. She was followed by Vanessa Berry with a 218 single and 537 triple. High scores also went to Mea Dion (169, 462), Madison Lalonde (156, 447) and Anna-Belle Vachon (124, 345). Bowler of the week went to Vanessa Berry.

On the boys’ side, Evan Lawryniw led the way with a 201 single and 448 triple. He was followed by Kole Mackay with a 186 single and 443 triple. High score also went to Vincent Beaulieu (149,409).

Bowler of the week went to Evan Lawryniw.

In the Bantam division, Kiana Paquette rolled a 158 single and 381 triple. She was also bowler of the week.

In the Peewee division, Neeson Sutherland was top bowler rolling a 101 single and 192 double. She was followed by Claire Ahrens with a 82 single and 156 double.

Bowler of the week went to Neeson Sutherland.

On the boys’ side, Quyte Sutherland led the way with a 111 single and 182 double. He was followed by Logan Ahrens with a 91 single and 170 double. High scores also went to AJ Bourgon (92, 169), Mathieu Amyotte (88, 167) and Caleb Amyotte (97, 166).

There is also still time to join our adult leagues! Ladies league on Monday nights, Mixed league Wednesday and Thursday nights, Seniors league Thursday afternoon, Mens league on Friday nights or even our Special Olympics league on Friday afternoons.
