Brantford took an early 4-2 lead on London before falling behind 9-5 after seven innings. Although the Red Sox scored four times in the eighth inning and the two teams exchanged a pair of runs in the 10th, Brantford lost on a solo home run by London in the 12th.

Once again errors were an issue as the Red Sox committed six. That meant only six of London’s 12 runs were earned.

Quinton Bent (three hits, two runs), Fernando Suarez (3H, 2R, 1RBI, 1BB) and Zarzycki (2H, 2R, 1RB) were the offensive leaders for Brantford.

The Sox used four pitchers with Matt McGovern eventually tagged with the loss after throwing a solid four innings.
