Marlow Slatter, 14, a Nicholson Catholic College student and Quinte Skating Club member, and her partner, Wesley Lockwood, 15, of KIngston and a member of the Napanee Skating Club, had a strong showing this past weekend as Skate Ontario hosted sectionals in Flamborough. In their first season competing in the Pre-Novice ice dance category, the duo placed seventh in the province and scored two personal best scores.
